Menu

Select Menu with Set/Menu, then confirm with Enter
  • Select the menu entry with Set/Menu
  • Call selected entry with Enter
  • Return to the previous screen with Exit

Menu/Logbook


Logbook
  • Chronologically lists all dives in the profile memory (the most recent dive carries the number 1)
  • Select dive with Set/Menu. Enter shows all details of the selected dive on a new page

  • Available information: date/time at the end of the dive, max. depth, dive time, min. temperature, air pressure before the dive in mbar, desaturation time in minutes after the dive, profile
  • Back to the list with Set/Menu

Gas Setup Page 1
  • Up to five gases can be configured (default is gas #1)
  • Select with Set/Menu, increase single values with Enter
  • Display of the current selection after the Gas number (e.g. 21/0)
  • Reset the gas to compressed air with "Default"
  • Configure shown gas as start gas with "First Gas?"

  • On the second page, the gas can be (de-)activated
  • The change depth can be specified
  • Active gases are used to calculate the decompression

  • Selection has to be confirmed with Enter for 10 s

  • Logbook entry and time setting will not be deleted

Custom Function I Example CF29
  • 32 custom functions are individually configurable; custom functions (CF) are parameters that influence the running of the program
  • Select the action with Set/Menu, confirm or change with Enter
  • "+/-": increase or decrease value of the CF?
  • "1/10": choose size of a step
  • "Default": Resets CF to default values; the information in brackets shows whether it concerns a 8Bit number (0-255) or a 15Bit number (0-32767)
  • "Current": applies the operation in question (e.g. "+10") to the current value
  • CF0: water depth in cm for the automatic switch into dive mode
  • CF1: water depth in cm for the automatic switch out of dive mode
  • CF2: delay in s for end of dive mode
  • CF3: timeout in s for menus and surface mode
  • CF4: hold time in s for pre-menu display
  • CF5: threshold in m/min for display of vertical velocity
  • CF6: absolute pressure in mbar for switch-on from sleep mode

Internal Module

Menu/Setup/Decotype

  • Switches between the different deco methods (ZH-L16 OC, Gauge, ZH-L16 CC, Apnoe, ZH-L16 GF OC and ZH-L16 GF CC)
  • ZH-L16 OC: Bühlmann ZH-L16 for Open Circuit
  • ZH-L16 CC: Bühlmann ZH-L16 for Closed Circuit (CCR and SCR)
  • ZH-L16 GF OC: Bühlmann ZH-L16 for Open Circuit with GF Extension (Deep Stops)
  • ZH-L16 GF CC: Bühlmann ZH-L16 for Closed Circuit (CCR and SCR) with GF Extension (Deep Stops)
  • In Gauge or Apnoe mode, no decompression is calculated
  • Apnoe temporally sets the depth sampling rate CF20 to one second
  • The GF Extension was added in Firmware 1.19 and is still in a beta phase!

Menu/Setup/Debug

  • Toggles the display of the debug informations (ON or OFF)
  • In surface and divemode, 6 characters + "." are displayed
  • new informations are added to the left and shift the older values to the right
  • The last six routines that were executed can be checked
  • If the divemode is interrupted with an interface-RESET a debug screen appears showing important informations - even if the debugmode was not set active!

Menu/More/Set Time


Set Time
  • Manual setting of date and time
  • Increase current value with Enter, select next one with Set/Menu. Seconds will be set to 0 after the last setting ("Set Year"), and the time will be shown for 5 seconds

The time can be set with just one mouseclick using "DivingLog" or "JdiveLog"

Menu/More/Const. ppO2 Setup

  • Calls the menu for the ppO2 setup

Const. ppO2 Setup
  • You can configure three "mixes", the diluent is the "First Gas" from the "Gas Setup"
  • Current shows the current value
  • Change + and Change - change the depth
  • Default resets the mix

Menu/More/Battery Info

  • Displays a battery informations page:
  • Cycles counts the charge cycles (Value in brakets: complete cycles)
  • Last Complete: Date of the last complete cycle
  • Lowest VBatt: Lowest battery voltage seen
  • Lowest at: Date of the lowest battery voltage
  • Tmin: minimum temperature (in brakets: Date)
  • Tmax: maximum temperature (in brakets: Date)

Menu/More/O2 Sensor Menu (Only OSTC1)

  • Calls the external O2 sensor module menu

O2 Sensor Module
  • Firmware Version of the external module
  • ppO2 values of all three sensor plus meanvalue of all valid sensors
  • voltage output of all sensors in millivolt [mV]
  • entry to disable the module
  • entry to calibrate the module
